There's no doubt that the Malaysian government is pushing hard for 5G rollout and brands are looking to capitalise on that. It wasn't too long ago when we got wind of OPPO gearing up to bring in its first 5G smartphone to Malaysia, but already there's news of another 5G OPPO device on the way.

Shen Yiren, Vice President of OPPO recently made a statement on his Weibo account stating that the upcoming OPPO Find X2 smartphone will support their 65W Super VOOC technology. Not only that, but the aforementioned smartphone is also expected to come equipped with a 2K 120Hz display as well.

Earlier, OPPO’s Vice President Brian Shen revealed that the OPPO Find X2 is going to have a better display than its predecessor. Until now, someone has found out that the device is going to have a screen that comes with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. This is definitely the right time for the rumours of OPPO Find X2 to pop up on the internet, as the smartphone is expected to launch this quarter.

The first OPPO Find X was first revealed in 2018 and it was a pretty cool smartphone that introduced the mechanised pop-up front camera. No successor followed up in 2019, though, but just in time for 2020, OPPO has confirmed that the Find X2 will be unveiled.

A report by gsmarena.com mentioned that there is a huge possibility that the OPPO Find X2 will be unveiled in Q1 2020, and it is expected to come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. Not only that, but the report also mentioned that the aforementioned smartphone is expected to come equipped with a high refresh rate display as well as higher resolution.
