It has been a while since we last heard about any real flagship from OPPO, aside from the OPPO R9 and OPPO R9 plus series, plus the recently launched smartphones in Vietnam, the OPPO F1 and OPPO F1 Plus. Nevertheless, there are some rumours that an OPPO Find 9 might be released sometime in June this year featuring tech specs that include a Snapdragon 820 processor, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB internal storage.

It might also include features like the Super BOOC fast charging and OPPO's SmartSensor, which will include an inbuilt image stabilization at the sensor level. A recent leak also suggests that the phone might come with a 4K display too. Regardless, from all these high-end hardware we should expect the phone price to be quite steep, with a price tag somewhere around 3998 Yuan (about RM2420). For now, these are all nothing more than rumours, so do take it with a pinch of salt.

OPPO has finally unveiled the new OPPO R9 and R9 Plus in Beijing, China for a price tag of 2799 Yuan (around RM1756) and 3299 Yuan (around RM2069) respectively. Both fullmetal smartphones are almost identical to each other with a slight difference in height, and as speculated before, theVOOC charging technology is also being featured giving super fast charging speed of 5% to 100% in just 15 minutes. OPPO is back again with another teaser poster and this time we can confirm that it has a fingerprint sensor, and not only that, we also finally get to see how the device look like although it's only for the front that we can see. 

OPPO R9 and R9 Plus are coming soon in just one week, and they can't seem to stop teasing about it. The two devices have already went through TENAA certification, and giving us some insights on the specifications. AnTuTu seems to confirm this, as the R9 Plus just got its benchmark scor

So it seems like not only the OPPO R9 is coming soon, but its bigger brother the OPPO R9 Plus is tagging along too. This information is leaked by TENAA just recently and both devices look alike, with the R9 Plus featuring better specifications.
