Malaysia is stepping up its push into artificial intelligence with a new initiative to train 300000 Malaysians in AI-related skills by 2029. Oracle has been the victim of a hacker attack with 6 million rows of data from 144,000 customers stolen, according to a report by Bleeping Computer . The data was sold on a black market site with the hackers demanding Oracle pay 100,000 XMR (~RM 97 million) to disclose the vulnerability used to make the system accessible. The TikTok saga in the United States entered a new twist today as it was revealed that the Trump administration is reportedly working on a plan to save TikTok in the country after its ban. The move, negotiated by the White House, sees software company Oracle and a group of outside investors, including Microsoft, to take control of TikTok’s operation in the United States.
