Qualcomm is touted to release the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC later this year and it may get some serious improvements from the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. In fact, the upcoming processor may get a 50 per cent boost in GPU performance.

AI Generated art can create photo realistic art based on just text prompts. Stable Diffusion is one of them. In a World’s first, Qualcomm AI Research demonstrated Stable Diffusion being used to generate pictures using just a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Android phone in less than 15 seconds.

Previously, we had heard the news of Samsung getting a specially-made Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip for the Galaxy S23 series. Until now, we have a new update on it. It's reported that Samsung Foundry will be making the boosted flagship chip. 

Qualcomm has revealed that its Snapdragon mobile processor lineup will be used by Samsung in its upcoming flagship, the Samsung Galaxy S23 series. Moreover, Qualcomm also revealed that the Galaxy S23 series will be Snapdragon-exclusive, meaning that Samsung won’t be utilising its in-house Exynos chipsets for the flagship series next year.

Although there's still some time to go, Qualcomm has announced that its 2022 Snapdragon Summit will go live starting on 14 November. Therefore, we now know when will the company present its next-generation flagship chip, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.
