Many countries are pushing 5G heavily, but 5G devices tend to be more expensive. As a result, chipmakers are starting to make cheaper options like mid-range 5G chipsets. Now, Qualcomm has gone one step further by unveiling the entry-level 5G chipset - the Snapdragon 480.

It seems that a user on weibo has recently posted on his account, stating that the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus 5G chipset is expected to be unveiled somewhere around H2 2021. While not much is known in regards to which exact smartphone will come equipped with the aforementioned chipset, we do know that it will come with a much higher clock speed compared to the non-Plus variant.
