News & Reviews:   Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Malaysia launch

Samsung has had 3D ToF sensors on their devices before - specifically on the Samsung Galaxy A80 and the Samsung Galaxy S10 5G. Now, we may be seeing the much anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 10 follow suit with a 3D ToF sensor on the front and back of the device.The 3D ToF sensor is used to render bokeh effects on portrait shots, AR applications and games as well as face recognition on devices. 

Previously, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 was rumoured to be launched on 7 August 2019 and it turns out to be true and official, as the official Samsung Facebook and YouTube channel have just posted a short teaser on the phablet with a simple S-Pen Stylus and the Infinity O-cutout front camera.

Several leaked hands-on images of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus, has been spotted on Slashleaks.com featuring a vertical camera setup as well as an Infinity-O display notch. Based on what we can see from the images, it appears that the device is able to boot into the Android operating system. Unfortunately, it is not known whether the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series will come with Android Q pre-installed when it is unveiled on 7 August 2019.

Popular Twitter leaker Ice Universe shared some interesting alleged features of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10. Following leaks of the smartphone’s screen protectors with no bezels, notches or punch holes, it is speculated that the device may be emitting sound from the display itself.

IceUniverse has recently tweeted on his Twitter account stating that the Samsung Galaxy Note 10, is expected to come equipped with up to 3 variable aperture modes such as f/1.5, f/1.8, and f/2.4. To the uninitiated, a lower value f-number will allow more light into the sensor, providing a brighter image while resulting in shallower focus which blurs out the background of the subject. A higher f-number value, on the other hand, allows less light into the sensor but provides a longer focal length that lets more of the scene, including the subject remain in focus.

If you can recall, there are some smartphone manufacturers that launched a special edition under a car brand theme. For example, you have Huawei and its Porsche (Design) on the flagships, the OPPO Find X has the Lamborghini edition, and OnePlus is with McLaren. Should the latest rumour be true, Samsung might actually partner up with Tesla.

So here a piece of short but exciting news, according to CNET.com, they were told that the next Unpacked event by Samsung will be returning to Barclays Center on 7 August 2019 which will probably showcase the upcoming Galaxy Note 10. It happens to be the same launching venue as the Galaxy Note 9 last year when we were there in Brooklyn.

Well-known leakster Ice Universe has uploaded an image of a screen protector on the user's Twitter account, which was stated in the caption that it could belong to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 10 which is due to be unveiled somewhere around third or fourth quarter of 2019.

The Galaxy Samsung Note 10 series is no stranger to innovation and high prices, and this year will be no different as the the aforementioned smartphone series will be expected to cost around the ballpark of 1100USD(~RM4562) to 1200USD(~RM4977) while the 5G model will most definitely cost more.

According to sources, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 could be introduced in August and that's not the only juicy news we got. In fact, we also got to see the supposed image renders of the phablet leaked by 91mobiles and @onleaks from Twitter.
