Back in early June, there were reports about the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series and Galaxy Fold 2 releasing simultaneously on the 5th of August 2020. It was easy to take it with a grain of salt, as the date has been shuffled again due to a new report by ETNews in South Korea. On top of that, the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition will also join the fray. 

Samsung Electronics will usually showcase their latest Note series during August annually and from the rumoured news, we might be seeing not one, but three Note series variants which are none other than the Galaxy Note 20, Note 20+ and the Note 20 Ultra. However, new reports coming in are claiming that the Note 20 display will be a downgrade.

Some may be indifferent to it, but many see colour as an important criterion. If that's the case for you, then you can already decide which ones you want for two Samsung devices coming this August. In a recent leak, the colour options for the Galaxy Note 20 series and Galaxy Z Flip 5G were revealed.

Based on a statement by Donga.com, it seems that the Samsung Galaxy Note 20, as well as the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2, will be unveiled on 5 August 2020. It is best to note that this is the first time Samsung will be hosting the Unpacked event exclusively online due to COVID-19.

Based on a statement by ice universe on his weibo account, it seems that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Plus smartphone will most likely come equipped with Samsung’s Isocell Bright HM1 108MP camera which utilizes a nona-binning technology. Other than that, the main camera will be accompanied by a 13MP periscope sensor with up to 50x zoom as well as a 12MP ultra-wide image sensor.

When Samsung launched the Galaxy S20 series earlier this year, it came with a new Ultra variant that wasn't available in the S10 series. Many thought that the Galaxy Note 20 series would get the same treatment and recent reveals seem to confirm that. Some sources point towards the existence of the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, so we can expect to see it at the launch in August 2020.

It seems that an image from 3C has been spotted on sammobile, hinting that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Plus will come equipped with a 4300mAh and 4500mAh battery respectively. With that said, those who are keen on getting the larger device just for the larger battery capacity might want to skip the Note 20 Plus.

Although some countries are slowly recovering at a steady pace, a news report from South Korea is claiming that tech giant, Samsung Electronics will be hosting the upcoming Galaxy Note 20 series online.

Based on a video interview with Ross Young, Samsung could be adopting Qualcomm’s new 3D Sonic Max ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for their upcoming Galaxy Note 20 series smartphones which is due to be unveiled this year. The aforementioned sensor is roughly 17 times bigger than the existing sensor found on the Samsung Galaxy S10, S20, and Note 10 series which makes it easier for the user to scan and unlock their smartphone.
