After recently releasing the Android 14-based One UI 6.0 beta for the Galaxy S22 series, Samsung has now also made the beta available for the Galaxy S21 series. Currently available in South Korea, owners of either the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ or Galaxy S21 Ultra can now test out the new OS.

Samsung just released the latest security updates for the Samsung Galaxy S21 series. That is great if you are looking for a more secure way to protect your devices from malware. That said, what should you know about this security update?

South Korean tech giants Samsung has joined the right-to-repair movement and will allow customers to repair their own mobile devices soon. Announced in a statement yesterday, Samsung is set to launch a new programme that will permit flagship Galaxy devices to be repaired by third-parties rather than just through the company’s in-house repair services.

With the programme, Samsung gives third-party repair companies access to genuine parts, repair tools and visual step-by-step guides for self-repair. In fact, the tech giant is also collaborating with iFixit - one of the world’s leading online repair community - on the programme.

Although it has been quite some time already, Samsung Malaysia has finally confirmed that the Galaxy S21 series is now available for 5G connectivity. As long as Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra users update to the latest One UI 4.1 software update, they all can connect to 5G via the YES 5G SIM card.
