The much teased and anticipated Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ have been revealed at the MWC 2018 event. As you can guess, the price tag is in the flagship range and it will cost starting from RM3299 (Galaxy S9, 64GB), RM3799 (Galaxy S9+, 64GB), RM3999 (Galaxy S9+ 128GB) and RM4399 (Galaxy S9+, 256GB) respectively. The pre-order page has also officially started today (1 March 2018) and 16 March 2018 is the official release date. 

Samsung has officially unveiled their Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ flagship smartphones at their Samsung UNPACKED 2018 event. The new devices include a 5.8-inch and 6.2-inch Immersive Infinity Display respectively, Dual Aperture Camera at F/1.5 and F/2.4, 960 FPS Slow Mo, AR Emoji, Stereo Speakers with Dolby Atmos, Iris Scanner, wireless charging, IP68 water and dust resistance and much more. The starting price will start from RM3299 it's confirmed that 16 March 2018 is the official release date. So while we wait, check out the rest of the tech specs, features and pre-order dates below.

While our earlier Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ price estimates came in at ~RM4399 for the 64GB storage Galaxy S9 and ~RM4899 for the 64GB storage Galaxy S9+, new pricing from @evleaks has these priced lower. According to his leaked pricing, the Samsung Galaxy S9 could cost 841 euros (~RM4041) while the Samsung Galaxy S9+ could go for 989 euros (~RM4791).

In a massive glut of leaks, serial leaksters @rquandt and @evleaks have revealed all the latest tech specs, features, press renders and even estimated prices for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ due for an unpacked event on 25 February 2018 at MWC. Expected to be announced at higher pricing than the Galaxy S8 and S8+, the 64GB storage S9 might go for 8790 NOK (~RM4399) while the 64GB storage S9+ could go for 9790 NOK (~RM4899) but do bear in mind that these are European estimates which are generally higher than Malaysian pricing.

While we wait for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 to come during MWC 2018 at the end of the month, initial camera samples between the Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Samsung Galaxy S9 have appeared courtesy of leakster @MMDDJ_. Since it is a maximum zoom on both devices, it's difficult to judge actual picture quality but the Galaxy S9 image on the right clearly beats out the Galaxy S8 on the left. According to Geekbench scores, the Samsung Exynos 9810 powered Galaxy S9 (single core = 3648, multicore =8894) outperforms the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 version (single core = 2378, multicore = 8132). Since Malaysia has traditionally received the Samsung Exynos powered versions this means good news for us as we'll be getting the more powerful and battery efficient version of Samsung's upcoming flagship, so don't get impatient and buy the imported version before it is official here in Malaysia.

As some of you already know, the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ will soon be unveiled at the end of February and many fans are quite excited about it. We have been reading some rumoured news here and there and with this latest leak, I think we can confirm that the Galaxy S9 and S9+ will have a single and dual rear camera respectively, thanks to the protection casing found online.

We have already shown you a Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ in a new Lilac Purple model, now there's a new one in Coral Blue and it was leaked by popular leakster, Evan Blass, also known as @evleaks on his Twitter account. Although Coral Blue is not something new, this model as seen in the cover image is somehow different.

As Samsung prepares themselves for the MWC 2018 event in Barcelona, Spain. We got ourselves some press render leaks of the Galaxy S9 and S9+ and sure, we see that almost every day from the Internet rumours, but this one is a bit special because it's in a rare colour that we don't see every day.

Famous (or rather infamous) serial leaker @evleaks strikes again with some official looking front and back renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+. The renders don't reveal much more than what we already know but they do show that the front dual curved edge Infinity displays are still there while the rear fingerprint sensor has been moved below the cameras.
