Samsung may be working on a new wearable device, this time in the form of a ring. According to a patent by the tech giant spotted by the Naver forum in South Korea, it looks like we may be getting a ‘Galaxy Ring’ sometime in the near future.

Previously, we reported that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 may feature a new ‘thermometer’ function that can accurately measure body temperature without being affected by the use’s external environment. Now, a new leak has further corroborated that claim through an alleged screenshot of the beta version of the Samsung Health app.

While the smartwatch market is getting smaller and perhaps more niche, companies are still making strides in design and technological advancements. Take for example Samsung. We like their Gear series of devices, and we have discovered some new patents that gives some hints on what their future smart wearables may look like.
