With electric vehicles (EVs) becoming mainstream, Shell just announced its latest plan to set up an electric vehicle charging hub in Resorts World Genting. Dubbed Shell Recharge, it will consist of 10 charging bays outfitting an ultra-fast 360kW high-performance charging (HPC) to enable EVs accessibility at the resort destination by early next year.

Touch ’n Go (TNG) Group and Shell Malaysia has announced the expansion of the use of new cashless radio-frequency identification (RFID) solutions in Malaysia. Currently available at 88 Shell stations nationwide, both companies say that they are expecting 200 Shell stations to be equipped with TNG RFID for purchasing fuel by the end of 2022.

In an effort to improve its energy efficiency and reduce its carbon footprint in our country, Shell Malaysia has today announced the installation of solar panels on the roofs of its 216 retail stations nationwide. Through a collaboration with Celantech Solar, 22505 solar photo voltaic (PV) panels were installed by Shell, for a total capacity of 10.12 megawatt peak (MWp)!

In a collaboration between Shell Malaysia and Boost e-wallet, more than 800 Shell outlets across Malaysia will officially support payment via the Boost App starting April 2019. To give a little more information regarding the Boost E-Wallet, it is a mobile app that stores digital currency which then can be used to make purchases and payments to partnered services.
