Spotify has announced that you can now set a custom image for your playlist via your smartphone starting from today onwards, which gives you more options on how to customize your listening experience. This feature is now available on both iOS and Android operating system, so be sure to update your Spotify app if you haven’t yet.

If you talk about music apps, Spotify is easily one of the most well-known around. Leaving aside the company's strange decision to test a Stories-like feature, most of what it has in development can be considered useful. In fact, it's said that the app could soon be able to play files locally.

With that being said, those who subscribed to this service will not be able to access Spotify’s music library.
