Telekom Malaysia recently blasted out e-mails stating that the Unifi Basic Plan which costs RM79 for 30Mbps, will continue to have unlimited internet quota all the way until 31 March 2019. After that, the internet quota of 60GB will be imposed and going over the aforementioned quota will have bandwidth speeds cut down to as low as 512Kbps.

Good news for all future TM UniFi customer, as Telekom Malaysia will be offering an expedited installation service to have the UniFi service and equipment installed within 24 hours. While the expedited service is free for now, customers who register after 31 March 2019 will need to pay an RM200 fee for it. This is due to a recent update on UniFi’s FAQ document, which is found on their official website.

Telekom Malaysia has released a mobile app for Unifi users to check their account status, bill payments, and even get in touch with Unifi representatives through the live chat available in the mobile app. Previously all of these were only made possible through Unifi's very own web manager but with the advent of the app released, it would make account management more efficient and convenient than ever before. A pop-up has recently appeared on Unifi’s official website that the customer is required to send in a 30 day notification prior to ending their subscription with Unifi starting August 2018. Based on the pop-up, you can give the 30 day notification either through their official website, live chat service on their official website, on their Facebook Page, Twitter, or through [email protected] email address. 30 days after termination notice, customers are required to head to the nearest TMpoint nationwide to follow up with the termination process. Telekom Malaysia has also announced the Unifi Basic Plan next to the Unifi Turbo upgrade covered earlier. The Unifi Basic Plan is priced at RM79 a month for 30Mbps speed and it does not offer the usual HyppTV found in existing Unifi Subscription Plans. However, it is best to note that the Unifi Basic Plan also comes with a limited data quota of 60GB and if they were to finish their quota they are required to purchase additional quote add-ons. Customers are able to pre-order the Unifi Basic Plan exclusively on TM Unifi’s official website starting from 15 July 2018. For more updates like these, stay tuned to TechNave.com.

It seems that the signed agreements between Celcom, P1 and TM back in January are showing results. This collaboration may probably end up turning WeBe into a new mobile operator. Originally WeBe was just a community site for anyone to post a project that they want to have happened, then with enough WeBe community to back it, to then start receiving funds for their project.
From the leaked photos surfacing from popular local blogs and websites, it seems that WeBe will be offering 20GB of data, 1000 talk time minutes, and 1000 SMS for RM8/month. Best of all their unlimited plan will only cost RM80/month for unlimited 4g internet, unlimited SMS and unlimited phone calls.
