4 months ago, Mark Zuckerberg launched Threads as a reply to the Twitter rebranding. The platform was a hit. However, as we mentioned previously, the numbers have dropped steadily. Perhaps, this is what made Meta launch this feature.

It's been almost 2 weeks since Threads launched, but the company isn't ready on its laurels. Previously, Instagram's boss announced that features like hashtags will be added. And one of those upcoming features should include DMs (direct messages).

Threads might be four days old. But that does not stop it from recording over 100 million users after its launch. This is a new world record because ChatGPT took over two months just to reach the same number.
