Last month, it was rumoured that Samsung would be looking to drop the ToF (Time of Flight) sensor for the Galaxy S21 series smartphones. Allegedly, the company felt that its ToF sensor isn't useful or powerful enough, compared to those from other manufacturers. However, it seems that the company already has a new type of ToF sensor for the Galaxy S21 series.

Whether Samsung is going to name its next flagship smartphone series like the Galaxy S21 or S30 is still up in the air, but rumours are already breaking out. One new rumour claims that the company will be looking to drop the ToF sensor for the Galaxy S21. It should be noted that this was what the company decided to do with the recently launched Galaxy Note 20 series.
