Today, U Mobile launches its first ever 10Gbps fibre internet plan for businesses in Malaysia. Dubbed the U Biz Fibre 10Gbps, the plan is priced at RM1899 monthly and allows businesses 10x the speed of standard business fibre plans, which range from 100Mbps to 2Gbps.

Two days ago, hackers claimed to have stolen four million pieces of data belonging to U Mobile customers. It was allegedly sold through the BreachForums black market and the ransom price was $5000. However, it seems that the claim was dated.

Around 4 million data claims belonging to U Mobile customers were sold through the Breachforum black market yesterday. According to Amanz, these hackers are asking $5000 (~RM23378.21) for the user data they have successfully stolen. So, what should you know about it?

The Communications Ministry today announced the Rahmah Student Prepaid Package which offers a minimum of 30GB of data for under RM30 and 180-day validity. Its Minister, Fahmi Fadzil said that the package can be subscribed starting 16 August.
