Meta recently unveiled the Meta Quest Pro Virtual Reality (VR)/Mixed Reality (MR) headset which has turned heads for its enhanced capabilities. The headset is made possible thanks to a new chip by Qualcomm called the Snapdragon XR2+ Gen 1 which the company has provided more details on after the Quest Pro’s release.

Meta is preparing to reveal a new VR headset in October, as confirmed by Mark Zuckerberg himself. The source suspects it could be at the annual Connect event, which also took place in October last year.

The Sony PlayStation VR is almost a 6-year-old device after launching in 2016. Back in January, the company had announced the plan for presenting the successor and showcased the design a month later. Although Sony didn't specify anything regarding the official launch date, many have chosen to believe it will sit somewhere this year. Sony has announced the new PS5 VR controllers and they surely look amazing.
