With the launch of Half-Life: Alyx earlier today, fans of virtual reality (VR) finally have a major title they can sink their teeth into. What many didn't expect was for HP to post a new video teaser on Steam titled "Next Gen HP VR Headset". We think this means HP is looking to develop a new VR headset that's on par, if not better, than the highly popular Valve Index VR.

Half-Life: Alyx will be launching on 24 March 2020 (Malaysian time) and it's definitely a VR title that many have high hopes for. In a clear attempt to build up the hype in the weeks leading up to the launch, Valve has released a couple of new videos to showcase the gameplay.

Virtual reality may be a fancy and exciting technology for some, but it's quite expensive to buy in considering some headsets cost as much as a gaming console. In order to expand its VR userbase, HTC is looking to deliver new VIVE VR headsets, with one that's targeted at those who want something cheaper.

It looks like Lenovo is not giving up on making virtual reality headsets. According to TechSpot, the PC manufacturer has submitted a new filing to the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for a new VR headset named VR-3030S.

If you want to enjoy content in virtual reality (VR), the barrier to entry just got lower. Oculus has announced that the Oculus Go VR headset will be getting a rather big discount. The price of the 32GB and 64GB models are now a more affordable USD 149 (~RM606) and USD 199 (~RM809), respectively.
