[Updated] - Previously, we thought vivo Malaysia leaked the price too early but that's not the case. The price tag is officially RM3899 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, and pre-order has already begun until 18 October 2019 with premium gifts worth up to RM699. The gift includes a bag, electric toothbrush, a tumbler and a screen protection warranty. 

It seems that the vivo NEX 3 5G has been confirmed to be released in Malaysia, and it will come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ chipset and 8GB of RAM. Not only that, but it also comes with up to 256GB ROM with UFS 3.0 which provides up to 79% faster read and write speeds.

Today, Vivo has unveiled the much teased NEX 3 smartphone series in Shanghai, China. There are actually two variants which comprise of a 5G and 4G model on a price range of ~RM3000, it's said that the series will be available in the coming months in the Asia Pacific, Southeast Asia and other markets. We have talked about the Vivo NEX 3 before about its new Waterfall and 5G capability, now the company is coming out with even more information as well as rumours. According to Vivo Product Manager, Li Xiang (Lance, again), the new device will be launched in China during September.

A little bird told us that there is a huge possibility that we could be seeing the Vivo NEX 3 5G in Malaysia, somewhere around October 2019. While not much is known in regards to the exact tech specs of the device, it was previously reported that the aforementioned smartphone will sport a “Waterfall screen design”.
