It's been almost a year since WhatsApp introduced the View Once for photos and videos. Now, the WhatsApp team is reportedly bringing back the feature for the desktop version as it was previously removed last year.

Some people love WhatsApp Web for its convenience, while some might be discouraged because of its QR feature. In one of its recent updates, the WhatsApp team have enabled the WhatsApp Web to be linked to your phone number for a better user experience.

In the new update, WhatsApp will start to require users to unlock with biometrics when using WhatsApp Web. The new feature is said to add extra security to the web version of the chat platform. Other than that, it is also stated that WhatsApp won't be getting the data of your fingerprint and face.
