For those unaware, WhatsApp has been working on ways we can organize our chats. First, the company introduced filters in April to make it easier to track chats and chat groups. Now, that feature has been expanded further with custom lists.

If you have different chat groups for work or family in WhatsApp, it might be a hassle to keep track of them all. While you can filter them by unread, favourites or groups, it may not be enough for some people. In that case, new filters would make a lot of sense.

Popular messaging platform WhatsApp is currently testing out a new feature on its app in regards to group chats. Spotted on the latest version of WhatsApp beta for iOS, users can now see past participants of their groups at the group info section

Popular messaging app WhatsApp may be adding a new way to to find updates and interact with all your group chats within a single tab. Called the ‘Communities’ tab, it is currently being tested by the platform on its latest beta version on both iOS and Android.

So, what is this communities tab all about? Well, it is basically a tab to view all your WhatsApp groups together. From the look of it, the tab is also replacing the camera tab currently found on the latest version of WhatsApp.
