Windows just can't catch a break on the mobile scene. According to GSMArena, Microsoft has confirmed that it will be terminating support for Windows 10 Mobile products. In other words, this sees the end of security updates, hotfixes, and tech support for the mobile OS.

If your phone is running on Windows Phone 8.1, chances are you might want to update it to Windows 10 Mobile. ASAP. Microsoft has confirmed that they are preparing to shut down the app store entirely in mid-December. 

It's been two weeks now since Microsoft rolled out their Windows 10 Anniversary Update for PC, Windows Mobile users have been waiting patiently for their turn on the update, but it's finally out now. Devices that support Windows 10 Mobile will definitely get it first.

During the presentation from Microsoft Malaysia's Windows 10 Anniversary update yesterday, there was no word on when the Windows 10 Mobile update would come, as it was only mentioned that it will come in the next few weeks. But don't fret, Windows 10 Mobile owners, because we might just get a hint of the next scheduled release date.
