It seems that Xiaomi recently started crowdfunding for the Xiaomi Youpin Blackhead extractor on their official website, where customers can support the product for the price of RMB129 (~RM80). After the crowdfunding, the aforementioned product will retail at RMB199 (~RM123) instead of the price mentioned previously.

Based on a statement by AndroidAuthority, it seems that Xiaomi recently uploaded a video onto their weibo account showcasing a smartphone that’s equipped with a telescopic lens that extends out of the body of the phone. While not much is known in regards to which smartphone will come equipped with the aforementioned technology, the video gives us a better idea on what to expect in the near future.

A report by BusinessKorea states that Samsung will be supplying chipsets to smartphone manufacturing companies such as Xiaomi, vivo, as well as OPPO. With that all being said, we can expect the chipsets to be available on lower-end smartphones while Qualcomm’s chipsets will be used for mid-range and higher-end smartphones.

Based on a statement by Redmi executive on weibo, it seems that Redmi could be planning on releasing a “mini” smartphone in the near future. While not much is known in regards to when the smartphone will be available for purchase, the executive did mention that a smaller smartphone will come with a much smaller battery capacity due to the size of the smartphone.

Update - Xiaomi finally announced the 80W wireless charging device!
Just a few hours ago, Xiaomi sent out a teaser on their upcoming wireless charging technology. Although we have not seen any official news about it yet, online leakster @UniverseIce apparently got his hands on the company's latest 80W wireless charging poster and posted it on his Twitter account.
