As the title suggests, this is a first impression article on what we think about the Swift 5. Although we have used it for a short period of time previously, there are a few things that left a good impression on us. Without further ado, here are 5 things we like about the Acer Swift 5.

This should be the time for laptop manufacturers to refresh their laptops with the latest 11th-Gen Intel Core processor to level up the performance. With that said, Acer has made to move and brought a few laptops with the latest processor to Malaysia. At only 990 grams, Acer ends 2018 with a bang with the 15 inch Swift 5 laptop, measuring only 15.9mm in thinness. The laptop features ultra thin bezels of only 5.87mm thin which gives the laptop a 87.6% screen to body ratio and a 10 hour battery life.

Looking for a new laptop? Well, starting tomorrow onwards (3 August 2018) - Acer Day campaign is making a come back under the theme "Acer Day - Play Music Together", Acer hopes to connect people through music and colour and the event will be concurrently held all across the entire Pan-Asia region.

Starting 23 January 2018, Acer Malaysia has officially brought in the newly revamped, ultraslim and ultralight Swift 5 laptop into Malaysia. Priced at RM3799 and RM4599 respectively, the two price tags are for the following two models carrying either an i5 or i7 processor. Both models are available for purchase immediately at all authorized Acer resellers nationwide.

Today, Acer Malaysia has brought in the latest laptop lineup from both gaming and lifestyle category for consumers. For the gamers, the Predator Helios 300 is finally available for RM5999 and a more budget friendly Acer Nitro 5 starting from RM3299. Meanwhile, the lifestyle laptops are the newly revamped Swift 3, the 2-in-1 Swift 5, One 10, and the all-in-one desktops Aspire U27.

Today, the Acer Aspire GX281 and AMD Ryzen processor have finally arrived in Malaysia after being showcased at Next Acer Global event in New York, as well as the new Aspire series of Aspire 5 and 3 that we reported before here. The Aspire GX281 is available at RM549 at select authorized Acer resellers nationwide.
