Xiaomi's MIUI 8 testing has been going very well lately, as you may be aware the Global Beta ROM was already rollout just a week ago, the company has now announced the Stable ROM version will be released soon next month on 16 August. If everything goes according to plan, then the future Xiaomi smartphones are very likely to get the new OS preinstalled in them.

While Google have already outlined key features for Android N, their search for a sweet name for it appears to have come to an end as they officially unveiled the statue at Google HQ, revealing it to be Android Nougat. The previously mentioned key features like better battery management, Google Assistant and Daydream VR are still there, but you can now expect device manufacturers to begin the race of including Android 7.0 Nougat to their tech specs lists.
