A few hours ago, Apple hinted that a major wave of product announcements is coming as early as this week, confirming that the company plans to unveil several new devices across its lineup in quick succession. This was further teased by Apple CEO Tim Cook on his X post, suggesting updates across Macs, iPads, iPhones and possibly other product categories.

Today, Apple gave us a preview of macOS Tahoe 26. As the next major macOS update, it will bring a fresh design, deeper productivity tools, and expanded on-device intelligence, all while preserving the familiar macOS experience.

Microsoft recently announced that Windows 11 is authorized to run on M1 and M2 chipset powered Mac laptops. This is done through the Parallels Desktop version 18 however, they made no guarantees for games that rely on DirectX 12 or OpenGL 3.3 or greater.

Despite it only being October, it looks like Apple has already finished with its product releases for the year and will only be launching new products in 2023. This is according to reliable tipster Mark Gurman who also revealed that Apple will be releasing M2-based MacBook Pro 14-inch and 16-inch laptops in the first quarter of 2023.

The Mac Pro is still waiting for its transition to Apple Silicone and given the machine’s standing in the Mac hierarchy, it will definitely feature the most powerful Apple in-house chipset yet. In fact, according to reliable tipster Mark Gurman, the Mac Pro will feature new and extremely powerful SoCs nicknamed the “M2 Ultra” and “M2 Extreme”.
