In the wee hours this morning, Apple officially announced the next Apple Event. It's set for 30 October 2023 at 5 PM (PT) and surprisingly, the livestream for the Malaysian market will be early at 8 AM on 31 October 2023 (because it usually happens past midnight). 

Apple has long been rumoured to be working on a foldable iPad and we may not have to wait too long to see such a device. In fact, according to a new report, such a device may launch in late 2024.

Apple may announce updates to its iPad lineup next week, as early as Tuesday (17 October). No event will be held but sources claim that the tech giant will only hold out a briefing to selected media members.

Last month, a French government agency apparently claimed that the iPhone 12 series had a radiation leak and was forced to slap a ban on the lineup. It was bizarre news for sure and denied by Apple, but at least the company is doing something about it. 

If there's one thing you should know about smartphone releases, most Chinese brands love releasing them every quarter or twice a year. However, Apple still refrains from doing so and will only release its latest iPhone flagships every year and Brut media managed to ask that question to Apple CEO Tim Cook on that matter.
