When people look back to 2020, many would remember how the world slowed to a crawl. This is true also for cloud-driven platforms, which have started to delay updates or reduce the quality of services to conserve bandwidth. YouTube did this last week when it reduced the default video quality to 480p and now Netflix is following suit.
