Last year, MBO had announced the closure of all cinemas due to a declining financial state amid the pandemic. Now, GSC is also closing down cinemas but it's less serious. Instead of closing down all the cinemas, the company will cease operations of only the ones located at Cheras Leisure Mall and Berjaya Times Square.
