Based on a statement by Nate Drake on resetera.com, it seems that Nintendo’s upcoming Switch Pro will come with 4k support and it’ll most likely be unveiled somewhere around the end of 2021. But that’s not all, it seems that that the handheld console is expected to come equipped with a feature called DLSS as well, but not much detail on that for now.

Sony Malaysia has announced that the third batch of pre-orders for the PlayStation 5 is officially available via Lazada on 19 February 2021 from 12AM onwards. But that's not all, it's also possible to pre-order the console from Shopee at 12AM and 12PM on the same day as well! To refresh your memory on the pricing, the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition is priced at RM1869 while the regular console with the Blu-ray disc drive is priced at RM2299.

Sony Malaysia has officially announced that the second batch of Sony PlayStation 5 series which includes the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition, as well as the PlayStation 5 with Blu-ray disc drive, will be available for pre-order from 8 January 2021 onwards. For those who are not familiar with the pricing, the Digital Edition is priced at RM1869 while the console with the Blu-ray disc drive, on the other hand, is priced at RM2299.

It seems that Sony’s PlayStation 5 has achieved more pre-orders in 12 hours than the PlayStation 4 did after 12 weeks, based on a statement by Reuters. With that in mind, it seems that there is heavy demand for the PlayStation 5, which is great news for Sony due to the fact that it was predicted to be the first PlayStation console to be the first console to not be sold at a loss.

GSC has officially announced Big Screen Gaming on their Facebook page, where you can play console games at their cinemas starting from today onwards from the price of RM188. As of now, there are only 4 locations where the service is being offered such as the Queensbay Mall, Ipoh Parade, AEON Bandaraya Melaka, as well as the Paradigm Mall Johor.

Based on a statement by tecnoblog.com, it seems that the Sony PlayStation 5 will support Wi-Fi 6 as well as Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity, which not only allows for a much faster download speed over Wi-Fi but also much better stability. To those who are not familiar with Wi-Fi 6, it allows the transfer of data up to 32 times faster compared to Wi-Fi 4 that’s supported by the Sony PlayStation 4.

It seems that a bunch of tweets from the user @IronManPS5 has recently surfaced on Twitter, detailing the pricing all of the variants of the PlayStation 5 as well as all the accessories the console supports. While not much is known in regards to the local pricing, the tweet gives us a better understanding of what to expect when the console and accessories are available in Malaysia.

Based on a tweet on KFC Gaming's twitter account, it seems that KFC wants to unveil the KFConsole on 11 December 2020, and it is expected to come equipped with a “Chicken Chamber”. Unfortunately, the promotional video did not mention any specifics such as the tech specs other than it looks like it comes with an optical drive and it is capable of achieving up to 4k and 120 FPS.

Based on a statement by former senior director Albert Penello, it seems that the upcoming Sony Playstation 5 is expected to be priced at around USD399(~RM1770) at launch. The aforementioned console is much cheaper compared to the upcoming Microsoft Xbox console, which will most likely be priced at RM499.
