According to the latest Opensignal Global Network Excellence Index, Malaysia’s mobile network experience slipped two spots, from 36th to 38th globally. Despite the drop, Malaysia still ranks in the top 10 across the Asia?Pacific region.

    Since all the local telcos are on board (except Maxis) with Digital Nasional Berhad's 5G Single Wholesale Network (SWN), Opensignal could finally do better research on Malaysians' 5G experience. Although it's still relatively early, Opensignal reported that we have "demonstrated an impressive improvement over existing 4G networks".

With Huawei developing 5G tech since 2009 and employing 180000 global employees, 25000 of which are focusing on mostly research and development in the Huawei Ox Horn Campus, beneficial 5G tech could impact every sector, of course, there’s also faster download speeds, wider coverage areas and lower latency as well.
