The eMadani program has begun today and in case you missed it, the four platforms that will give away the free RM100 credit are none other than Maybank's MAE app, ShopeePay, Touch 'n Go eWallet and Setel. Yesterday, our Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced the official distribution date for the RM100 e-Madani (formerly known as e-Tunai). Eligible participants can redeem the RM100 credit starting from 4 December 2023 but the providers were not mentioned until today.

Previously, we reported on the new initiative by the Federal Government which would provide RM100 of e-Tunai or e-Wallet credits to Malaysians earning less than RM100000 annually. Now, the Ministry of Finance (MOF) has commented on the initiative, saying that it is ready to expedite the e-Tunai's rollout.

E-Wallets offered by Touch ‘n Go, Grab, as well as Boost started giving out the RM30 E-Tunai Rakyat from today onwards until 14 March 2020. Malaysians who earn below RM100000 a year and are above 18 years old, will be able to claim the RM30 from one of the platforms mentioned.
