Today, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced the RM100 e-Tunai aid for all adults in the country. However, this aid applies only to those earning RM100000 and below annually.

According to Anwar, the Finance Minister, this aid will benefit around 10 million people in the M40 and B40 categories. In addition, this aid will cost RM1 billion for the government. This announcement was made during the launch of the "Madani Economy: Empowering the People" blueprint on the country's economic direction.

Earlier, the Malaysian Prime Minister was also involved in a virtual discussion with Elon Musk about Starlink. As a result, the satellite broadband service is now open for pre-orders and can be installed in rural areas soon. Elon also confirmed that Tesla will begin its operation soon in Malaysia, thanks to the release of Model Y this 2024.

The e-Tunai aid is great for Malaysians, especially students. As of now, we have yet to confirm when the govt will distribute its aid. But it is safe to assume that the help will come soon.
