Earlier this month, Google lost its court case against Epic Games and was ordered to open the Google Play Store to third parties. But Google wants to delay that by appealing for time to implement changes.

The Epic Games lawsuit ended with a California judge ordering Google to open the Play Store to third parties for three years. Under this directive, the Play Store would have to offer competing apps from stores like the Epic Games Store. At the same time, these third-party stores would have to be given access to all the apps that exist in the Play Store.

The average gamer may recognise Epic Games as a company that loves to give out free games. But if you're not into PC games, you probably remember Epic Games only for its lawsuit against Apple and Google a few years ago. Now, the company has filed a lawsuit against Google and Samsung.

Epic Games has announced that it is going full steam ahead to bring the popular game Fortnite back to the iPad after the European Commission ruled that the Apple tablets must also comply with the Digital Markets Act. Not only that, the company is even going a step further by bringing the Epic Games store to the iPad.

In this short announcement, OPPO just announced the launch of Fortnite on the OPPO App Market as part of a partnership with the game’s developer, Epic Games. Back in 2020, Apple and Google both dropped the mobile version of Fortnite from their app stores. Despite escalating into a lawsuit, Epic Games was unable to put the game back on the app stores. But it's been confirmed that the game would return in another form.
