Based on a statement by gizmochina, it seems that Samsung might be keen on releasing up to 3 new Exynos chipsets in the year 2021. The 3 new chipsets will include the 800-series, 1200-series, as well as 2200-series chips which will most likely be available on mid-range smartphones, high-end smartphones, as well as flagship smartphones respectively.

Earlier, the Geekbench test of the Intel Rocket Lake was leaked showing a record-breaking single-core result. Based on a statement by gizmochina, it seems that HONOR’s CEO recently posted a statement on his weibo account, stating that they will be launching a new flagship smartphone possibly in Q1 2021. While not much is exactly known in regards to the exact smartphone they will be announcing, our source did mention that the CEO might make the announcement somewhere around January 2021.

It's hard to get confused with Samsung's flagship devices as they have one main difference that is the S-Pen. Almost everyone knows that the flagship devices come with S-Pen are from the Galaxy Note series, while the ones without are from the Galaxy S series. Now, it is reported that there would be no need for that anymore as Samsung might ditch the Note series by moving the S-Pen to S series.

Other than the tech specs of cameras, the fast-charging capability is also getting competitive in the smartphone industry. The highest fast charge capacity currently sits at 65W, and many companies are aiming to launch devices that are capable to support more than 100W. Earlier, Xiaomi demonstrated their 100W fast-charging solution that is able to fully charge a 4,000mAh battery in just 17 minutes. Now, it is rumoured that the technology will appear on a Black Shark phone.

ViewSonic officially unveiled their new Lamp Free Theatre Projector called the ViewSonic X10-4K which will be retailing for RM5999, and it can be purchased via ViewSonic Lazada Flagship Store. The projector is most suited as part of a portable home entertainment system which can be easily moved from room to room, due to the fact that it is rather lightweight.

OPPO has recently announced that they have opened their very first Super Flagship Store in Thailand, which offers a much more luxurious shopping experience for OPPO customers. Not only that, but the store also has a dedicated 5G network which can be used to test the network speeds of any 5G-capable OPPO devices.

A leaked image has recently surfaced on Geekbench, showing benchmarks for a chipset from Qualcomm called Kona. We suspect that this could be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset, which is expected to be installed in most flagship smartphones in the year 2020.

Even as we get more advanced flagship smartphones - some with crazy amount of memory, others with great camera and processing power – the new VR platform from Google may just be too much for them.
