Previously, Malaysia's first "flying car" was supposed to take off in October but nothing seemed to happen. Well, hold on to your seatbelts because according to Entrepreneur Development Minister Redzuan Yusof at the recent Dewan Rakyat meeting, he will personally "be riding the flying vehicle" this coming Thursday (21 November). He also invited the opposition MPs to come and take a look for themselves.

So remember that earlier this year, Entrepreneur Development Minister Datuk Seri Redzuan Md Yusof said that Malaysia will be showcasing a "flying car" this year? Well, here's a new update - the man himself is expecting to see the first demonstration in October 2019, as he said that the drone prototype should be completed by then.

In a somewhat surprise statement, Datuk Seri Mohd Redzuan Md. Yusof, Entrepreneur Development Minister of Malaysia said that Malaysia will showcase their first flying car by this year of 2019, and it will be developed by local companies. According to him and the New Straits Times, there is already a prototype, and that they “will use local capabilities to build the flying car…”, with foreign parties only involved as consultants for safety features and procedures.
