While a few Android brands are already on full steam ahead with their foldable devices, Apple has yet to manufacture even one. However, Macrumors.com reported that 2026 could be the year when we see an Apple foldable device, which has been a constant rumour.

Yesterday, we reported that Apple may be working diligently on a MacBook with a 20-inch foldable screen. So far, three industry analysts have quoted that a foldable iPhone or iPad wasn't on Apple's radar. However, that just changed with the latest development.

According to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple will launch the next-gen iPad mini near the end of 2023 or in the first quarter of 2024. Kuo's information contradicts the previous rumours saying that the company will replace the compact-size iPad with a foldable tablet.
