Have you ever tried to look up something on Google Search and can’t quite describe in words what exactly you’re looking? Well, the tech giant now has a new feature to help you with just that, which allows users to search using text and images at the same time.
Announced by Search Product Manager, Belinda Zeng via a Google blogpost yesterday, the new feature is called ‘multisearch’ and will be embedded within Google Lens. First teased by Google in its ‘Search ON’ event in September last year, the multisearch feature is available as a beta in English within the United States starting yesterday.

Announced via its Google Workspace Updates blog, Google said that the new feature provides users with a less formal alternative to comments when expressing their opinions. Furthermore, Google also confirmed that the feature supports all emojis available in the latest Emoji 14.0 release.

Google is updating its Google Maps platform with a slew of helpful new features that would make your journey easier and more convenient. These include showing users toll prices before they start navigating and even display traffic lights on the selected route.
Shared by Google Maps Proudct Manager, Rubén Lozano-Aguilera in a blogpost yesterday, toll prices for nearly 2000 toll roads in Indonesia, Japan, India and the US will start to be shown this month. Furthermore, it will make its way to other countries, including Malaysia ‘soon’.

Google is reportedly working on a feature that would allow for devices running Android 13 to support multiple profiles on a single eSIM. This would essentially allow users to connect to more than one carrier with a single eSIM and make SIM cards obsolete.
Senior technical editor for Android developer platform Esper, Mishaal Rahman in a blog post last Thursday alluded to this feature coming to the big Android 13 update. However, no release date timeframe for the update was mentioned.

If you think your texting game is a bit dry and want to spice things up a bit, then Gboard has got the perfect tool for you. Currently being rolled out to users of the virtual keyboard, Gboard is adding a ‘magic wand’ button that would fill your text with emojis!
As reported by 9to5google, users that have gotten the update said that a new magic wand button would now appear at the top right of the keyboard. Pressing on it will then fill what you’ve written with emojis.
