While there were speculations going around stating that Clubhouse had a data breach, Clubhouse themselves debunked the rumour stating that they were not hacked and data from these users were already public information which is visible as long as you view the user’s profile via the app.

Based on a statement by thehackernews.com, it seems that cybercriminals are utilizing a ‘coronavirus map’ to steal sensitive information such as passwords from any unsuspecting victims. The method in which they acquire such information is by tricking the users to download a software which is embedded with a malware called AZORult, which collects information from web browsers such as cookies, user ID, passwords and more.
