The Government today announced a special 50% toll discount for highway travel on 28 and 29 March in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration. In a press conference in Melaka today, Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi said that the initiative involves an estimated RM19.69 million, which will be used to compensate the affected highway concessionaires.

Touch 'n Go (TnG) has finally announced the implementation of Near Field Communication (NFC) technology for the TnG cards. Not only that, but the government has also stated that it will soon allow the public to pay using any digital payment provider, not just TnG.
