Since Huawei is banned from using Google Mobile Services, they have been steadily developing their own Huawei Mobile Services and adding more international apps to AppGallery (we were told Facebook, Twitter and Instagram are coming soon). According to XDA-Developers, it seems that the company is making a new Huawei Search which it's now on beta test.

Since Huawei was placed on the US Entity list last year, Google was banned from working with the company. Recently, Google has reportedly applied for a license with the US government to be able to work with Huawei again.

Since the ban from the US Government’s Commerce Department back in 2019, Huawei has launched its own Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) with its own App Store. Now, the company has stated that Huawei AppGallery is now the third-largest App Store after Google and Apple.

The Huawei Mate Xs isn’t the only thing we can get excited for at today’s Huawei's press event, there were also other powerful devices being introduced to the world by the company’s CEO Richard Yu as well. The devices included two new Matebook series to complete the Huawei’s laptop family. One of them is the new and upgraded Matebook X Pro and the other one would be the Matebook D series.

We are just about a month away from Huawei's upcoming flagship, the P40 series to be unveiled. But before that, the company recently held a launch in London showcasing their latest technology pieces such as the NetEngine 8000 Series Intelligent, a monetization solution for 5G and more. 

Based on a statement by androidheadlines.com, it seems that Huawei recently filed a patent which shows a smartphone that is equipped with up to 6 cameras at the back as well as 2 in the front. While not much is known in regards to the tech specs of the aforementioned smartphone, we do know that it is expected to not come with a curved display.

Huawei recently announced that they might be introducing a new Kirin 820 5G chipset, which will be unveiled during the online conference that’s happening at 9PM on 24 February 2020. Based on a statement by gizchina.com, it seems that the new chipset comes with 5G support and it is manufactured using TSMN’s 6nm process.

Yesterday, Huawei announced that it will be hosting an online launch on 24 February 2020. A bunch of new products are expected to be revealed then, including the company's upcoming foldable device. In fact, we've got confirmation that the Huawei Mate Xs will indeed be among the product lineup that will be introduced at the launch.

Huawei recently announced that they will be hosting the Consumer Business Product and Strategy Virtual Launch in Barcelona, Spain at exactly 9PM on 24 February 2020. The virtual launch will highlight Huawei’s various technologies and innovations they’ve been working on, which you can watch live on their Facebook page or their Youtube channel.

It wasn't that long ago that the Mobile World Congress 2020 was cancelled due to the coronavirus outbreak. Annually held in Barcelona, Spain, it's the world's largest mobile showcase event and there are reports that some smartphone brands will be rescheduling their events. This includes OPPO and Xiaomi, perhaps even Huawei as well.
