So we mentioned this before, but Huawei did introduce its digital service, AppTouch platform at MWC 2019 a few days ago. This time around, they have officially released the platform at the Digital Game Conference 2019 that was held in Dubai, along with features that will enhance the digital entertainment services such as games, videos and music.

During the MWC 2019, aside from showcasing the world's first foldable 5G Huawei Mate X smartphone, the MateBook X Pro (2019), MateBook 14 and some new 5G devices, Huawei also did another announcement, saying that the company is planning to build a new digital service platform called the Huawei AppTouch.

Maxis and Huawei have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) at this year's Mobile World Congress to accelerate 5G in Malaysia. Looking to collaborate and cooperate on full-fledged 5G trials with end-to-end systems and services, the event saw Gokhan Ogut, CEO-designate and Morten Bangsgaard, Chief Technology officer for Maxis signing with  Guo Ping, Huawei Rotating Chairman, Jeffery Liu, Huawei President of the Southern Pacific Region, and Michael Yuan, CEO of Huawei Malaysia.

In Huawei's latest financial report in 2019, they have managed to climb up to the 12th spot on the Brand Finance Global 500 2019 chart. It was released by Brand Finance, a British-based brand value consulting company and previously, Huawei was sitting on the 25h spot which a pretty big jump.

Huawei conducted a pre-MWC 2019 briefing, introducing everyone to their latest 5G supported modem, the Balong 5000. To make things more interesting, the Balong 5000 5G modem will not only be the company’s first 5G device but it will also be implemented into the company’s first foldable smartphone.

Today, Huawei is proud to announce two new products that will usher in the new age of Internet connectivity. The first one is the 5G multi-mode chipset Balong 5000 and the other, the Huawei 5G CPE Pro as the first commercial 5G device. With this in hand, wireless connections between our smartphones, home appliances, office, vehicles and others at one-go will be made possible in the future.

Huawei is pretty much known by now to have one of the fastest SuperCharge technologies on the market. It is rumoured that the company is now working on a new type of 20W charger that uses half the amps of the SCP Gen. 2 uses.
