As usual, we are still many months away from the annual Apple Event, but new leaks suggest that Apple’s next-generation iPhone 18 Pro could arrive with a noticeably larger Dynamic Island area. According to recent reports, the change would give users more space for notifications, live activities and content cues.

According to leaks from trusted sources this week, we may have a good idea of Apple’s boldest iPhone roadmap to date. The leaks are reinforced by internal claims by Apple hardware chief John Ternus, embarking on "the most ambitious" iPhone development cycle.

It was only yesterday that we reported Apple could be planning to split up the iPhone 18 series launch in 2026 and 2027. In that news, we also mentioned that the iPhone 18 Pro variants could have a new under-display Face ID for the first time.

It's a yearly thing for phone brands such as Apple to announce and reveal a brand-new device. However, that could change in 2026 onwards. As per The Information, Apple could be planning to change the release cycle for the iPhone lineup.
