If you recall, Qualcomm announced that the next-gen Snapdragon will have a new name. While there's no official word yet, it's very likely to be called Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. On that note, the chipset may have gone through a benchmark test on AnTuTu with over 1 million points.

According to XDA Developers, the Honor 50 series will feature the Snapdragon 778G. In this case, the device is believed to be the realme Quicksilver.

Based on a statement by gizmochina, it seems that a vivo or an iQOO smartphone may have been spotted, hinting that it will be unveiled somewhere around March 2021. While not much is known in regards to the Malaysia release date, it does give us a better idea of what to expect when it is available in the global market.

Despite the competitiveness in the smartphone industry, there are actually some brands who choose to skip Malaysia as a potential market.
