Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) today announced that the Aerotrain Replacement Project at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) will be completed earlier than scheduled. In a statement, it was revealed that the project is slated to be completed by 31 January 2025.

The automated entry system (autogate) at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) will soon be extended to non-Malaysian citizens thus reducing the queues at the airport’s immigration counter. Announced by the Immigration Department director-general Datuk Seri Khairul Dzaimee Daud yesterday, the implementation will begin in next month.

Printing our boarding passes and other travel documents will be a thing of the past soon for Malaysians. According to the Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd’s (MAHB) Group CEO, Datuk Mohd Shukrie Mohd Salleh, he said the facial recognition technology will be rolling out soon at the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) during the first half of 2021. It is part of the Single Token Journey Initiative.
