Apple may move away from mini-LED displays for its future iPads and MacBooks lineups and opt for OLED displays instead. This is according to industry sources which claim that demand for mini-LED suppliers is shrinking due to Apple’s alleged move.   

A new report says that Apple has started producing iPads with OLED panels, and they would offer a lightweight design and improved image quality. According to ET News, the prototypes are being produced with Korean display partners Samsung and LG Display, which allows the tech giant to conduct a series of tests.

Looks like Xiaomi’s General Manager of Xiaomi TV has recently shared a picture on Weibo hinting that Xiaomi could be releasing another Xiaomi TV that’s equipped with an OLED panel in the near future. While not much is known in regards to the exact release date, it does give us a better idea of what to expect from Xiaomi in the coming months.
