Malaymail has recently reported that the government will lower the ceiling price for 3-ply face masks to RM1 per piece, while the wholesale price for the masks will have a maximum price of RM0.95 per piece. The announcement was made at the Dewan Rakyat, based on a continuous assessment of the supply and demand for the aforementioned face masks during the pandemic.
