Sony first revealed the existence of a next-gen console way back in April 2019. Now, after months of teasing, the PlayStation 5 is finally unveiled. Last night, Sony Entertainment finally shared some detailed specifications for its upcoming console and has some beefy specs. Still no official render of the console though!

The folks at Sony Entertainment have been very tight-lipped when it comes to details of its next-gen console. While some features have been teased, we've never gotten any concrete numbers on the machine's specs. Obviously, that gives people room to imagine and speculate on just what the Sony PlayStation 5 full tech specs are.

Unlike its counterpart at Microsoft, Sony has been tight-lipped about the details for its next-gen PlayStation 5 console. To date, the public is yet to know what the retail unit would look like. However, this also means that people get to be imaginative, like with the concept video that was released recently by LetsGoDigital.

Next-gen consoles from Microsoft and Sony are coming this year and both are expected to be great. But with Sony pulling out of events like PAX East 2020 and Taipei Game Show 2020 being delayed, not many know what the Sony PS5 will actually be like. That's not stopping analysts from believing that the console will be an unprecedented success though.

Although voice controls have been added to Smart TV remotes for some time, we haven't really seen it added to gaming systems before. But now Sony may be working on a controller that will include an internal microphone, which has led many to believe that we could see voice controls added into the PlayStation 5's controller.

If you were hoping to hear more from Sony at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) this year, prepare to be disappointed. Sony will be skipping E3 2020 because the event's direction doesn't fit with the company's plans. Instead, Sony will aim to attend more consumer events this year.
