realme has officially announced that the realme 5i smartphone has sold more than 4000 units in Malaysia on the first day of sales, which took place on 18 January 2020. Other than that, realme also mentioned that their realme Buds Air sold out within 28 minutes on Shopee as well.

realme has officially announced that the realme 5i series has been officially unveiled in Malaysia, and it will be priced at RM599. In terms of the availability, the offline sale, as well as online sale of the device, will start from 18 January and 28 January 2020 respectively. Other than that, realme also unveiled the realme Buds Air which is a pair of wireless earbuds that supports wireless charging as well as Super Low Latency technology at the price of RM199 on 21 January 2020.

It was only yesterday that some realme 5i unboxing videos got released at the same time (suspicious much). Now, realme Malaysia has officially announced that the phone will indeed be arriving on our local shores on 14 January 2020.

It seems that several unboxing videos featuring the realme 5i has been uploaded to Youtube, which is several days earlier than the official launch which is expected to take place in India. In the unboxing video, the person unboxed both the blue colour as well as the green colour variant of the aforementioned smartphone.
