realme Malaysia has today announced that it will be bringing the realme Pad Mini into our shores, with a launch date set on 20 April 2022. In a Facebook post today, the Chinese tech company revealed that the launch will be live on its official Facebook page at 2pm on 20 April.
The Pad Mini was released as a Philippines-only exclusive earlier this month, starting from ~RM815. Essentially a smaller version of the realme Pad, the Pad Mini is powered by a Unisoc Tiger T606 SoC with up to 4GB of RAM.

The smaller version of the realme Pad, the realme Pad Mini was previously spotted getting FCC certified and now, it looks like the tablet would be released soon. In fact, realme has already teased about the Pad Mini’s upcoming launch which pretty much confirms its specs.
According to realme Philippines, the Pad Mini will be making its official debut in the country soon. However, no launch date or pricing has been revealed by realme just yet.

realme during its livestream event today announced the release of two new entry-level smartphones in Malaysia, the narzo 50 and narzo 50A Prime. Designed specifically for ‘Generation Z’, both smartphones provide comprehensive user experience for the devices’ target audience.
For the narzo 50, it is powered by a MediaTek Helio G96 processor that has two Cortex-A76 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores with up to 2.05GHz clock speed. Furthermore, it also has either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and utilises realme’s DRE technology that allows for up to 11GB RAM expansion by turning its ROM into virtual RAM.

Following the release of the realme 9 Pro last month, realme has yesterday unveiled another variant of the realme 9 series, this time the 9 5G SE. Short for ‘Speed Edition’, the new phones are actually faster than its Pro cousin as it features a Snapdragon 778G, a step up from the 9 Pro’s Snapdragon 695 5G.
However, compared to the 9 Pro, the 9 5G SE has an inferior camera setup that includes a 48MP primary + 20MP depth-sensing + 2MP macro lens at its rear and a 16MP front facing camera. Furthermore, the camera setup is only capable of recording at a maximum of 4k 30fps.
